I wanted to stop by and say thank you everyone that took the time to make the pens that were sent out to us. I am a Marine and have been serving in the Middle East for 4 years now. Receiving a package is always nice but receiving a package that can be shared with everyone around is outstanding. It brings a smile to a lot of faces.
My father was a member here and said he felt at home. Coming from him, that was high praise.
I really just wanted to thank you all for your generosity and for thinking of us. I wish everyone a very Happy and a Healthy New Year.

Jack , THANK YOU for doing what you do . I know a little about your family , and would be honored to be there with you . Fact is , I'm too old , and wouldn't make a pimple on a Marines butt .:biggrin: I'm glad the troops liked the pens .

Jack,
Thank you very much for your service to this great nation. You should know it is greatly appreciated.

Thanks for your service, a pen is a very small thing in comparison to the GREAT things you and your fellow servicemen are doing for our Country. God bless you and yours.. All of you, including our distinguished Veterans are greatly appreciated and thought of daily.

For those of you that don't know already, Jack is one of the 2 Marines that I have been sending the pens to for distribution in Iraq, he is also Johnnie's (Jarheaded) son. He stops by once in a blue moon to mooch my food and company before he goes back to work.

Thanks for your service to this great country. My son is a Poolee and we are very happy for him. He goes enters boot camp in June.

That a great thing they have now, any advanced training will help make boot camp easier. I wish him the best of luck in becoming a Marine. I am sure you are proud of him for his choice to serve with the nations finest.

I know a pen may not be much, but I think it's nice for them to know that we
do think of them often and appreciate what they do.

It's been said many times already, but again, thank you for your service! My brother in law shipped out yesterday. Six weeks at Fort Hood then 9-12 months in Kuwait and Iraq.

Good bless you!
