Every end of the year I do a recap of my sales, vendors, what worked and what didn't work. So in 2025 I want to tip my hat to Penn State Industries and Stainless Bottle Stoppers. Both great companies to work with and I've only got good things to say about them both. Understand please, this is not a comparison to any other company, just my experience. I use both of these companies exclusively for what I sell.
If you're not aware of the PSI turners club and you're a member of a turners club in your area not using the turners club discount you might want to look into it. PSI offers a 10% discount for any turners club member. I use it and last year my discount for just the turners club discount was $421.00. That doesn't include all the other discounts they offer, many of which the turners club discount also applies. Last year my overall discount was 11.5%. I was pretty happy with that. If you're interested in the turners club, call PSI and they'll direct you to the person who runs the program.

Stainless Bottle Stoppers also offered a great year end discount that included free shipping. I've found their prices to be competitive with the other major brand but the difference is customer service. Stainless has a great response time and I know that if I call Dan he'll either answer the phone or call/email me right back. Plus the items they offer are great and all are big sellers for me. Plus they're 100% Made in America.

I have some of Ruth Niles bottle stoppers on watch from PSI because they sold out when they had that end of the year sale. Waiting for them to come back in and also a stand they offer too which is on backorder.

Give stainless a chance John. I was always a Niles supporter until Ruth sold the business and customer support fell off...big time. The only way I got a response from the new Niles buyer was to slam him on a review. He responded by having Ruth call me. Kinda chicken sh$$t in my view. Just saying.

Are they through PSI also. I see they are not. I am looking for the flat bottom ones. May have to give a try. Do you use the threaded insert or do you tap the blank and glue in stopper.

Tom, thanks for the tip on the bottle stopper. They have ones I wanted and they save me alot of extra work. I did not know they had these type. perfect. You will be seeing a few soon. I placed an order.
