I am looking for a pen kit that has the same tube size for top and bottom of a 2 piece kit. Other than a cigar pen. Would like the kit to be a straight 2 piece kit. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
Try the slimline edc pro from PSI. Don't let the slimline name put you off, it uses a Parker refill and is quite a nice pen. No where as slim as a regular slimline.I am looking for a pen kit that has the same tube size for top and bottom of a 2 piece kit. Other than a cigar pen. Thanks. This has potential because of the larger tubes. The classic and classic elite rollerball kits take 10mm top and bottom tubes.

I really like this kit, especially the Classic Elite II, since it has a longer main barrel than the original. I don't sell a high volume on Etsy, but this has been pretty popular for what I do sell. Customers seem to agree that they are nice. The one below is also a testament as to why I love Granadillo.Thanks. This has potential because of the larger tubes.
No this is something I want to try and make the same blank for both top and bottom. But outside of making a kitless pen I want to use the same material size on both parts or else it looks odd because the cap has wider material and the bottom slimmer. I want the pieces to match up if possible. Just another pen blank I have in mind. Thanks.John, if you are looking for a pen that is more for the ladies, but still with the same diameter tubes for upper and lower (8 mm), then I would suggest the Diana / Zoe. I have made many of these and ladies always love them. It uses a Parker refill too...

This is a very valid thing. I've been disappointed in several Jrs I've made with hybrid blanks that didn't look right because of the difference in the wall thickness of the barrels, even with painting them. Of course, I need a lot more practice and experimentation with painting and colors, but having the same tube size helps immensely. With solid wood blanks, I've had no problems. Looking forward to seeing what you come up with, John.No this is something I want to try and make the same blank for both top and bottom.
