I don't know if this is the right forum (I'm new) so sorry if wrong.

I've been desperately searching for years for a Namiki Nightline but as I'm sure many know it's a bit of a dream.

My next plan (besides ultimately learning how to do stuff myself) is to ask if anyone knew how to produce a blank version of one? I was gonna send to Japan for some Raden/Urushi but don't know if anyone does here or not!?

Please help direct me and or any advice. Thanks!!!!!

There are a couple of IAP members that have shown Urushi and Urushi Raden pens that they have made. Martin from Switzerland (manupropria) and Teodor (Teodor) from the Czech Republic. You can use the "Search" function to find posts that have Urushi to see their posts along with others. - Dave

Thanks so much! I'm on it!

Namiki made at least two pens with that motif, a Yukari and Emperor, and I could swear they made a Capless also. If you can find someone to do the raden/urushi work, which may be troublesome as they may not want to copy an existing Namiki design, especially in Japan, then all you need is the base model pen which is readily available from Pilot/Namiki.

I was not able to find a base model anywhere. Does anyone actually know where you can get one?

Yukari Royales and Emperor/Urushi 50s aren't hard to find. Goulet, Atlas Stationers, Yoseka Stationery, and Dromgooles all carry them as well as any number of other Pilot/Namiki dealers. They're cheaper if you buy them direct from Japan, but that comes with its own risks. Regular Yukaris seem harder to find at the moment for some reason, but those are the smallest Namikis and probably not what you're looking for.

I'm actually looking for the regular yukari. That was the size they made the nightline and moonlight in. Where does one find a regular yukari? Super curious!?

I think I may have misspoke. According to what I can find, all regular Yukaris are decorated. It's possible there is some Pilot or Namiki pen that is essentially that same pen, but I can't find any reference to such a thing currently. I'm not even completely sure if it's brass or some other material, although it seems likely that it's brass.

I suppose you could make one.
