As some of you know, I'm working on setting up a Tool Review site. I have a bit of it set up and running. What I need now, is a few people to visit it, sign up, write a tool review and just take a look around. If you want to write an official tool review, go ahead. If you want to write test news or a review, go ahead too. If you write a test review, put test or remove in the header so I know to remove it. All official reviews, will need to be approved before they are posted. As is comment and general news. I still have a bit of work to do. On the to do list is FAQ's, terms of service, And get a logo designed. Meanwhile, I need feedback. You can either post it here or email it to me. Please, I want the good bad and the ugly. BTW I haven't decided on a template. It may change again. Don't be surprised if it changes between visits. But, I like the current one.

1) I would like over all impression
2) What tool categories should I add or remove
3) Is everything easy to understand. What should I change.
4) I want any and all suggestions.

The Submit New Item is for announcements. Like IAP or TSP events and the such.

Also, if you submit a review, please put the Make, Model, and model number(if available) in the title.

Hi Steve,

I did not see where to add a review. I did put in for registration, does the option to enter a review become available after I register?

Scott,
You need to verify your email. And Submit tool review will come up in the user menu. I have this set up so only registered users can post. It will cut back on the spam.
 
Ok, cool. I have most of the bugs worked out. A few things.

You must verify your email to activate your account. This is so I can prevent spam and I will be implementing a visual verification in the near future.

I Have one fake review posted so you can check out what it will look like when posted.

And all reviews and comments must be verified before posted. I will check it regularly so you get your review up fast. I still have some work to do, but there is no reason why you can't post a review if you like.

I still have to design a logo and a few other things.

Ok, the site is back up. But, with a snag. Those of you that signed up, well your registration is lost and you will have to sign up again. Sorry about that. I had some software issues and had to start over. But, I did learn a lot and I am up and running faster than the last time. I still have some layout issues to take care of, but you can go ahead and POST THOSE REVIEWS.
