Does any one have an opinion on the quality of the refils that come with the kits from most suppliers, are they any where near as good as genuine Cross or Parker refils?[?]

My experience from the last 5,6 years is that the ball point refills coming with the kits I buy (mainly Berea and AZ) are better writing than Parker and Cross refills! I even had customers coming back to me and asking if they can buy some of the original refills, they had bought Parker and/or Cross and found them to be not as smooth writing as the no-name refill coming with our kits. If you do a search here on this topic, you will find a lot of info. The rollerball refills, however, are a different thing. In my opinion the Hausser refills coming with Berea and AZ kits are all pretty bad and I exchange them right away for quality Schmidt refill (as they are coming with the CSUSA kits). I also bought some of the Pilot and Uniball refills from Staples and found them to smear a bit.Originally posted by bitshird
