I have a very small presence on Ebay simply because of the fees and the pricing on some of the pens sold there. I'm there just to have an alternate site for exposure. I have sold many pens there but have noticed lately that some of the turners have dropped prices on pens to the bone. I jsut recieved an email with Christmas specials and saw that one turner is selling slims for 5.95 with 1.25 shipping. Roller balls for 14.95 and the same shipping cost. I'm probably way to proud of my pens to be selling them that low. I don't think my pricing is out of the ballpark on most of my pens. I do however have some special unique high priced pens (and sell them). Why do you suppose that some people price their wares so cheaply. I think the time has come to remove my name from the rosters of that site.
Sorry about the rant.

I've tried it and feel that same way you do. Run, run, run away never to return. Dirty rotten no good bushwhackers.

There are probably some people out there who can crank out a few pens an hour
and put them on $1.25 kits.. and figure that can make them a decent hourly wage
for some part time effort in the garage.

In this economy, you'll find all sorts of businesses being undercut by people trying
to make the rent.

I was in the wholesale busness all my life. I used to buy boxed wood pens for under $3.00 and give them away to my customers.
i t could be someone trying to use that as a come-on
