Pen mold

Anyone use a mold like this for casting blanks? Found it in etsy.

We used to make interlocking molds from UHMW plastic. If the rabbets and dados aren't tight fitting, resin will seep into the joints. It wasn't a big deal, the resin cleaned out pretty easily.
