I seen the thread on "plain" ole wood , and was wondering about the kits used on the plain wood that is less expensive and alot of the time free.
I have made nice pens from such wood the one that is on my front page http://davidspen.com/ is one such pen. It was a special order and a request for another (any pen style as long as its made with the same wood). The next will be a jr gent or jr statesmen .My question to the ones that uses plain ole wood . What limit do you put on the kit if its for stock.
Also it goes the other way , there are some that uses expensive blanks on less expensive kits . I know that if its a special order ( as mine )its up to the custmor.
Most of my stock pens are slimline with less expensive blanks.I have also have Sedonia with ebonite .
Realy just thinking outloud
