This is my very owen design fo a dispaly carring case for my pens.
Made from Poplar. Holds 38 pens, cards, and other mis. stuff.
Comments welcome.

Very nice. Im curious though what are you using to hold the pens in the slots so when you close the case they dont fall out?
 
Looks good, Spike! I like the sliding plexi insert so you can see the pens, but I agree with Dario on the protection issue. You should flock the inside to better protect the finish of the pens. It looks like most of them are in plastic tubes. If you intend to keep them all in these, you may not need the flocking and other protection.
 
most of my pens are in clear plastic cases except for the crosses and lager ones which I use a black sleeve(pens taken out of black sleeve for picture puropses.)
The plexi hold everthing in. as for the flocking Ive looked in to that but wasnt shure how well it worked.
any suggestions? (I am planing to make one for some bigger pens, key chains letter openers mag. glasses ect. which means no plastic tubes and I would need something to protect the finish.)
