OK Now this is getting serious, A lot of us who use PayPal shipping use the Priority envelope postage when we ship through PayPal even if we use the small priority shipping box, the reason we do this is there is no option for Priority small box on PayPal shipping.
I got a package today with a Postage Due of .05 yup a whopping 5 cents due. I explained to my Postmaster the situation, (they weren't going to charge me any way) and he suggested that those of us who use the PayPal shipping contact them and tell them they need to include that as an option, then I showed him 3 small boxes I was sending all with Priority Envelope labels, he said good luck but don't be surprised if the recipients get charged postage due. What the heck, they both cost the same to ship on the USPS site. Something is afoot here and there is rotten cheese in Denmark!!! or the Post Office is going more berserk than usual. Or is PayPal the one to blame???

Look again! I saw it for the first time today and selected the small flat rate box within Paypal shipping. Yipeeeeee!

Small flat rate has finally arrived in Paypal shipping!

Wish I'd seen it earlier, I hate getting picked on by my postmaster, he's a nice guy but BY THE BOOK, I'm surprised he let me slide on the nickel postage due.

PayPal has been an excellent service for me.
But, I may dump it for their political views.
You cannot buy or sell firearms or gun related items using PP to pay for them. They are very, beyond liberal, leftist in their social views.
Methinks, if this reaches a high court they will have to change. After all, it is simply a banking service.
I have signed on with the new GunPal service to get around their near-communist restrictions.

Paypal

I printed postage for a USPS.Priority Mail Small Flat Rate Box on Paypal yesterday. The USPS website is a horror when trying to print postage. I'd rather go to the PO and stand in line than use their website.

We have routinely been paying this when we take the packages to the post office. They did not answer me, when I asked why they were not refunding the recipient when I put MORE than necessary postage on the envelope (I have $1, 44 cent and dime stamps-- so I am sometimes over by 6 or 7 cents!!!)

We have stopped trying to UNDERSTAND!! Just give them their extra nickel, it's easier than trying to transfer an address from Paypal to USPS postage site.

Yep, Paypal changed middle of this week.

I have tried to dump paypal for other reasons, but I have a feeling that this is less of a political view of theirs than it is a liability view of theirs.

Like it or not we are living in a very litigious society now and the costs they might incur (and not be able to recoup) from a single gun related lawsuit may well be more than they would make in gun related fees for several years even if they won the case. So do they take the risk or just make a policy that avoids the risk and possible expense?

Let me know if you find another viable/widely accepted method of payment.

What about the large flat rate this is missing from the options as well????I tried to get a mass email from the IAP before and I don't think many jumped in.I hope the small/large options are up soon.I will send another email.Victor

When I used Paypal yesterday the priority mail flat rate choices were envelope, small, medium and large flat rate boxes but I thought they have had the large flat rate boxes all along.

I always go to the post office and stand in line... online postage is too much of a pain in places where there's no sunshine...(just being politically correct)

Our post office is a nice little small town operation... two clerk stations, sometimes both manned and sometimes I'm second in line...
