Does anyone else have a problem printing international shipping labels on from the Paypal site? Everytime I try to do it they refuse to print and I wind up waiting 2 weeks for a refund from them. I have taken to using the USPS site for international but it would be easier if Paypal would work for me.

I haven't done any international since the summer. I did however put 2 addresses in today to ship things and Paypal changed the addresses when it printed them out.

If you do international, try to keep the "customs paperwork" as simple as possible.

We have to take the international pieces to the Post Office. Lately, the automated reader is not working on the paperwork. So, the clerk has to enter all the info manually. "25 sticks of resin for hobby work" has worked pretty well. Much better than saying anything about spalting, wood (implying insects), etc.

Ed, there is no customs paperwork involved for a small flatrate envelope/box, too bad they will only hold 22 3/4" blanks. For customs paperwork I just list as acrylic blanks for pens, haven't had any problem with that stuff. It is just the Paypal site won't print international labels for me but it will charge me (and then refund) for it.
Right now I have about 20 packages going to Canada, UK, and Australia and I would prefer to just print them through Paypal.

Ive battled that page at paypal for months! I usually get it to work after three or four attempts. I thought it was just me.

Hello I ship international all the time and have never had a problem with it. I am not sure what you are doing but I print out 5 to 20 a week going overseas. If you would like you can call me at 503-330-1155 and I will help you with it if I can.

Thanks Rod

Neil,

Yes, I am having trouble too. The java page opens and the java indicator sits there and spins. If you wait it out, it will finally print but it will take 6-8 MINUTES! At first I though it would not work and kept ctl alt delete and then killing the process. One time I just left it alone and it finaly printed. VERY FRUSTRATING!

Neil, I've had to take two international packages to the Post Office, even on the PO site which I use more than Pay Pal I couldn't ship to Canada in a flat rate envelope, it wanted to charge me 18.50 instead of the 10.50 at the PO, our postmaster has been getting complaints like this for the past two weeks.

Not quite that long but it does take several minutes for Java to load for me also.
