For those of you that take payment by paypal is there a different service charge for the different categories? (goods, services, money transfer, etc.) Just wondering if there is a preference to which box is checked.

No it makes no difference. They must just want to know monitor how its being used.

Russell, I may be wrong, but in my experience the charges are based on the type of account the person you are paying has with PayPal. When I had the Personal account, the first few transactions were free, and then the service charge kicked in. Since I use it for the raffles here on the site, I got the Business account. There, I can have all the transactions I want. There is always a service charge, but the % is less than the one charged to a Personal account.

My understanding was that the seller did not get your address if you, as the person sending the money, check services. If you check goods then the seller gets your address so they know where to ship your stuff.

Keith, You are correct. clicking goods will then provide your address to the person you are paying. It also creates a print shipping label button.
