Tonight I attended my sons Parent Teacher Conferences at the high school it was PERFECT!!

Conferences are 10 minutes each ...did I mention that the Science teacher wanted to see my jewelry?? So of coarse we are NOT going to be late for her!! I also brought ALL my pens:biggrin:

We wrap up the science stuff and then my son says, "my mother brought her Jewelry for you to see". She stands up I take out my jewelry and pens. She is in love with the pens has not even looked at the jewelry. Cant choose, to many beautiful pens..tells me she would like to get one for her Aunt, picks one out I get $75.00 and leave.

As we leave my son says as he is laughing his ass off, "You are a peddler!!" I am all smiles a perfect evening:biggrin:

My daughter's teachers all get my stuff as gifts. They don't make enough money to expect to sell to them. Heh.

NZ pay its teachers better?

Bravo Zulu Toni. I do the same with doctors when they overbook. "My time is as valuable as yours" Dr. says but you are retired. I say that means I don't have as much time left. Ya never know what people are going to buy. Some of the pens I put in Marie's store I think are ugly as a mud fence, but someone comes along and loves it. I have a friend in NZ. His name is Dudley Young. LOL

It was a great Evening, rave reviews about my son from all teachers, he is in highschool... As for teachers being paid alot in New Zealand I dont know. I have sold a few pieces of Jewelry to teachers, but never a pen.. Back in the states I always gave the kids teachers gifts I made, here the teacher "gift" is a box of chocolate.

LOL

WTG Toni, now that teacher cant give him a bad grade or it will lokk like a payback.

I think if that was one of my daughters (the teacher) it would have assured that the kid better be on his toes for the rest of the year. Neither of them takes well to parents raising their voices. The wouldn't take revenge on the kid, but they wouldn't be inclined to give him a little boost either.
