I am surprised that this thread died off so long ago on a penturner forum.
I have just started playing around with Parafix as a finish in my High School class. Mark Sillay is an excellent source and resource.

The big differentiator for Parfix seems to be the delay in kicking off, giving additional working time. Any comparisons to GluBoost or is this just a completely different animal?

I missed this the first time it was posted. He applies his very similarly to the way that I do, except I don't use paper towel, I use a thin piece of foam or flexible plastic to smooth it on, so that 100% goes onto the blank.

Lee, can you share your process? It looks like Mark applies only one coat, then buffs it out. Is that all you do as well?
