Padauk Rollesters and an Olivewood Gatsby Grand

First time trying the rollester kit, seems nice.

They look nice. The Rollester style never really appealed to me personally, but I have sold every one I've made, so there's that. It's a nice pen, just not my preference. What's the other wood? It has some nice eyes in it.

Thanks. The gatsby is olive wood from a Trader Joe's serving tray/cutting board.

Really beautiful pens! That red looks amazing on those Rollesters. And, I'm sorry but Olivewood looks great on any pen!

Very Nice. I have made several of the Rollesters but I'm usually not happy with how straight the cap seems to fit on them. I've also been happy with the Snap Cap from William Wood-Write. They have a lot more plating options. I kind of stopped making either of them though in favor of the Eco Zen. The Zen is a little thicker pen but I really prefer the magnetic cap over the snap types. Yours really turned out nice and the woods you used are stellar. - Dave

Dave I did notice one of the caps didn't seat as easily in write mode, I can see where a magnetic cap would be nicer
