Padauk & Ebonite

G'day!
A recently made pen for a swap over here in Australia. It is padauk with a matte ca finish sleeved with ebonite, mottled ebonite cap and a watch crown rollstop. Jowo #6 nib.

Excellent pen. Great choice of colors. And I don't see many matt finished CA pens, but it does make for a good protective finish and the matt look enhances and emphasizes the wood when done right!

Matt finish: I have my preferences and there are a couple of ways and maybe different techniques, but this is Casey's thread. I would enjoy reading his method, as it is excellent on his pen!

Thanks mate, start wet sanding at 400 until the shine has become completely taken off, them lateral wet sand to remove the radial lines gently. Then 600 grit, repeating the above method. Then stop! That's it!
