Out Playing with the Telescope

Tonight I was out playing with the telescope and here is what I got.I was just holding the camera to the eyepiece.This is extremely hard to do but could'nt resist trying.As you can see it is Saturn a little fuzzy but not too bad considering.The telescope is an Orion 6 inch diameter reflector and I was using a 25mm eyepiece.

That is cool. I have a camera adapter for my telescope, but never tried it. I need to break it out, next nice weekend.

I love looking at the heavens and I take particular note of any special events so I can see what's going on.
