Gettin' sick of PayPal! I don't want to give them my bank account information, and I cannot get my $$ unless I do. I may just cut my losses becuase of it, but would like to know if there are any other sites like this that anyone else uses!
Good, bad, or otherwise...........I'd like to hear from you all.

Thanks,
Tim

Tim,
There are other ways to accept payments available, Google Checkout, to name one, but you will find that any system like this will require your bank info to get the money. The reason is the Government REQUIRES THEM to have positive identity of the person. They are treated like any other financial institution, try opening a checking account without ID, Paypal and Google Checkout bypass all the ID requirements by say "if the person has a bank account, they've already provided valid ID to that Bank"

The only way you can accept payment without the ID check or Bank info is to only accept Cash/Check.

Just set yourself up with a seperate bank account just for PayPal use. Keep just enough in it to satisfy your purchases. That way if anything goes south.....you don't get wiped out! Been doing it this way for years without any problems.

Get a standard merchant account with your bank or any credit card processing service. You will pay an annual and monthly fee, but you may be able to negoiate out of paying the monthly for months that you have no activity. Setting it up as an internet account costs a little more.

I use a internet merchant account as well as a PayPal account. As someone else said, the PayPal account should be tied to a bank account that is used for pass through only. I transfer the money out of the bank account that is tied to PayPal frequently, even daily at times.

Good plan

Tim, Could you provide us with some info, specifically what the problem is?

I have used Paypal for almost two years now, have never had a problem, have moved thousands from Paypal to my bank account without a hitch.

Admittedly I was wary of providing my bank account routing number to them but as I said, I've made dozens of transfers to my bank without a hitch.

If you're still fed up with paypal and are thinking of "cutting your losses", transfer the money to my Paypal account and I'll send you a postal money order!

I've been doing it that way since about a year after PayPal's inception, I started in with my r4egular account but started hearing horror stories about it so I started a separate account, and just use that,I also use their debit card for a lot of purchases, get money back that way.
