Good morning folks! I hope I'm not breaking any board rules ,but can anybody recomend a great place to order penmaking supplies. I probably threw away $100.00 at a company that was real quick to charge my card but doesn't seem too interested in getting the order to me. They don't answer e-mails and when I finally got someone to answer the phone he said he would call me right back. Well that was three days ago. Must be he forgot. Thanks,

I've got some kits for sale downstairs; mostly what's left are slimlines.

The home page has links to most if not all the vendors we typically use, some of which depend on what kits you need:

Sounds like you ordered from Steebar. Gary's list is good but I would also add Woodturningz (PSI kits and acrylester blanks) to it. For blanks, check the individual classifieds here as we have some great suppliers among the members.

He is a sly one too. Good at throwing in "thank you" blanks which are too good to waste on a cheap kit so you want to go back and buy a decent kit for it. He is evil I tell ya!!![}]

I called #$%!&*! today. The guy said "Oh I'm so sorry" for not calling me back as promised. According to him my order was sitting on "her" desk because of a typo. "She" wasn't sure what I ordered. I went out priority mail on Wednesday so I should get it today or tomorrow. I try not to be a pessimist but I'm not holding my breath either.

Just a follow up- I got my order today!!!! Well, most of it. A pen box is on back-order with no projected date of delivery.

Maybe "She" can refund your money for the back-ordered pen box (good luck!). Then you can buy it from one of the vendors mentioned above that actually cares about you and fulfills their promises. I've dealt with the ones Gary and Gerry mentioned .... great service.
