As some of you know, my niece was on the reality show "Biggest Loser". Well, lasts nights show, Abby was voted off. But, I am one proud uncle. Not once did she loose her integrity or character. After 3 years, she has found herself again. Not only has she lost 100 lbs, she has been a tremendous inspiration to literally thousands of people around the world!
Oft times we are not sure we can make the day because of some event that has happened in our lives. Well, I invite you to watch this short clip and then ask yourself, can I make the day!! http://www.nbc.com/the-biggest-loser/video/clips/week-7-abby/1170172/

As Abby says............"you can have a second chance"!

Thats great Bob! Sometimes all a person needs is an inspirational individual to change their life. I am glad she could be that individual.

Were you in the clip? You have every right to be proud, it is a tremendous accomplishment. Pass along our best wishes and congratulations to your Niece for me. MIke

WOW! Go Abby, I love it when she just nails it about it being all about a different choice. I learned how completely true that statement is several years ago. It is all to easy to live life thinking it is the result of what everyone or everything else is doing. That simply is not true. We choose anger, frustration, hope, action or passiveness along with every other thing that will add or take away from our motivation. And that is what determines what our next moment will be. I always say there are those that say they can and those that say they can't. They are both correct.
You have every reason to be proud and my very best to Abby. Tell her she is a very beautiful Lady for me will ya?

I don't watch Biggest Looser but LOML does. She said she was in tears when Abby was voted off. Her story is something else, most would have given up long ago. Give her our best and look forward to seeing her progress on a later show.

It's pretty incredible what she has done , AND what she is doing now . You should be proud of her , as I KNOW you certainly are . Thanks for sharing this Bob !

Bob, you have every right to be proud, her accomplishments are phenomenol. She may have been voted off and therefore will not be the winner, but she is already a winner in life/living (which is way more important than a show). Her weight loss and positive attitude will inspire others to change and improve their lives as well.

If you weren't extremely proud of her, we would have some serious doubts about you.

Just watched the DVR last night, and I must say you have every right in the world ot be proud of her. Even though you spoiled the ending for me, the way she "fell on the sword" for her team was very sweet and inspiring. It's awesome that she's so strong and turned her life around after all that has happened to her. I know many who have done worse to themselves for less devistating issues.

Hiya Bob, caught a couple episodes, kinda hard to watch because I've been there done that. At 45 I finally got my weight under control, or maybe it was my mind, LOL! She's a keeper!

Hey, Becca, good to hear from ya. She is a keeper for sure!! I have passed along to her all the well wishes. She doesn't quite understand why I posted about her on this sight, go figure!!
