The Mr. found some time over to holidays to get out to the shop. I'll be sad to see this one go, sometimes there's a pen you just want to keep, right?

That is stunning Michele! Thanks so much for sharing it.

I love the pairing of the materials on the barrel tenon and section with the Desert Iron wood. Is the cap lined with the same material?

Thank you, the Desert Ironwood is SO pretty. Yes, the cap is lined in the same Alumilite blank.
 
Beautiful pen! Tell him he has a winner, there! Is that goncalo alves wood? Your husband has an eye for the kind of pen that appeals to men, for sure! :)

Thank you! Yes, he has a feel for "man pens." He's wanted to work with wood for quite awhile, but is always trying to help me with my learning curve and whoopsies! We are trying to stockpile him a bit of wood so he can do his thing.

This is Desert Ironwood…my new favorite.
