SO I thought that I would experiment with some shimmering paint that I have. I have mixed gallons of Alumilite and I know that it does not like Liquids........So I have used paint before and have gotten just a little of the "loaf cake" effect. So I mixed up 7oz of Alumilite for an 8 oz mold.
I am getting the most wonderfull swirling effects as the Alumilite and paint react! Then I thought ...wow some pearl essance would be cool... so I poured some DRY pearl essance in. I am not satisfied. So What Do I do???
I grabbed the bottle of LIQUID pearl essance. I put about 8 drops in the mold.
That is when the MONSTER came alive.:eek::eek:The stuff inside the mold began to
GROW, and I thought Oops not the thing to do, It just kept growing like a blue/green blob! Thankfully I had non stick foil on the table and just let it go.

It finally stopped growing and began to set.
It is sort of spongy, I will recast it as it is rather cool!
all comments including ones telling me I am a goof are welcome!:eek:

Lol, kinda reminds me of the big blue booger I made recently by waiting too long after adding Gel promotor to my PR.

As I was pouring it, it poured fine for 2 seconds and then the whole thing gelled up on me in a half-second, making this nasty big blob.

Liquid and Alumilite don't mix well and you have proven that, so what's next on the agenda? Maybe you can prove that Alumilite doesn't come out of the carpet very well also...LOL
