Old Silmar 41

I've had about half gallon of silmar in the shop for little over a year. Poured up some molds with it, using 4 drops of mekp per ounce. The cure seemed ok until cut in to blanks. You can bend them like rubber. Is this because it is old? Will they ever harden?

Do a post-cure on them. Toss 'em in the oven at its lowest setting for 30 minutes.

It's been a while since I stored any that long, but when I did I had to either use way more MEKP or do a post cure.

hey jack, some heat will make them set up, i would use more catalysis next time to.
