I'm interested. I live next to Columbus and am in charge of the pen turning area at the Central Ohio Woodturners - AAW chapter. We have pen topics at four of our monthly meetings and invite everyone to come and participate.

An IAP group would be a great idea! Count me in.

Sure thing, Stan! In my opinion, the group should have no barriers to entry. Kinda the opposite of Groucho Marx' opinion, "I would not join any club that would have someone like me for a member."

PMed yesterday so hopefully today we should have our own chapter. This is cool. I've been wanting to meet other turners.

Will these meeting be held around the Columbus area? I live in the Cincinnati area. I work most weekends but am off 1 or 2 every other month, so I don't know if I could attend every meeting but if that is not a problem I would love to join and attend some of the meetings.
