Hi Guys,

I will be offline for awhile because I am be having an extensive lumbar fusion Monday morning in San Diego. We will leave tomorrow and stay the night before. I would like to ask that you keep me in your prayers at this time. If you don't pray maybe you could just send some good thoughts my way. I know there is alot of power in this group of ours. I will miss cruising the site but in the words of a famous governor, "I'll be back".

Thanks all,

Becca, prayers coming your way. I went through a similar operation 10 years ago (L4, L5, S1 - caged and fused). Was the best thing I ever did for myself. After waking up in recovery, the pain that I had had for many years was gone! Now, 10 years later (and 2 motorcycle accidents), I am still relatively pain free. Lost a small bit of motion but it has not been an issue for me. Took me about 12 weeks before I could return to work and another 6 months for full recovery, but in the end I could pick up my grandkids and play with them.

Becca, well wishes and a speedy recovery. Follow the Doc's orders after surgery and you'll be as good as new.

Best wishes coming your way! Good chance to catch up on your reading...

Best wishes for a speedy recovery. Will send thoughts and healing energy in your direction. Being in California they will reach you for sure. Take it easy and you'll come back quicker then if you push it.

Thank you all so much for the well wishes, they worked!!!!!!!!!! The first 2 days were he(( but I survived, doing much better now altho still in slo-mo.

Dr actually went in and had to replace a whole link in my lower back. I have to wear a fiberglass back brace for 6 months or more. I'm on BLTs for the next year, (no bending, lifting or twisting). You all are a wonderful bunch of people. Thanks again for all the prayers and good thoughts.
