Oddest Pen Sale

Well I have to say today was one of those odd pen sale days. Went to a mall to buy a couple pairs of pants and a sport coat. Got talking to the sales guy about sports and other things. As I was leaving he remarks about the pen in my pocket. He asks if it was a MountBlanc. I said no it is a pen I made. It happened to be a computer pen. A Titanium Gold Sierra. I took it out and showed him it and he told me he is a collector. $75 later I am in need of another for myself. You just never know.

Good job John ! I carry this pen , and one day I was signing a check for deposit , and the teller said "that's a very nice pen " I thanked her , and told her I make pens . She was impressed (I guess) but not enough to pay $50.00 for one . I have got to improve on selling skills ! Congratulations !

i've had one of those 'unexpected' sales....took a pen into work to show some friends.....and before i could get in the door, the first person i crossed asked if i'm still making pens....i said yea, and showed him my new one........he had me wait while he went to his care to get his cash......

congrats!

He mistook a MontBlanc for a Sierra? Must not have been collecting long! You should have told him... "Yes this is their newest release and it's only $499.95"! :biggrin:
