I've had my HF pressure pot for a year and a half now. I was lucky when I first got it I could hold 60PSI over night and life was good.
Slowly my pot started to leak. At first I hardly noticed it. But eventually I got to the point where I was having to repressurizing it after 20 minutes.
I started to research on these boards what to do. First I focused on the seal as the culprit. I flipped it around and added some motor oil to it and things got better. (But not perfect)
Second I sprayed some soapy water on the top fittings while the pot was under pressure. It was like a bubble factory I tell you!
After removing the fittings I debated on what I should use to seal them back on. I also noticed that the fitting themselves only had a rubber type gasket on the inside and nothing on the outside of the lid. Once the inside gasket began to dry and crack there was only a metal on metal connection to keep the air in.
So I scrapped off the black rubber gasket and I installed rubber O-rings on the inner and outer part of all my fittings.
Result - I pressurized my pot up to 60PSI and it has held 3 days with no loss.
So here is some ray of hope for all you leaky pressure pot owners.
Attached is the link to the O-ring set I bought from HF

I also market my lid and pot to make sure I put it on the samme way everytime.
Thanks board for all your help
