I think this actually the first post I have ever started...
Anyway, I just want to throw out a notice to anyone in the regional Upstate New York/New England area that the Northeast Wookworkers Association is having its 18th annual woodworking showcase this weekend in Saratoga, NY. Here is the Web site with more info : http://www.nwawoodworkingshow.org/
There are usually 100's of pieces exhibited from small boxes and toys, to large furniture and canoes, and even a large area of turning pieces. There are not usually many pens, but I will have a few on display. I will also have the cradle on display that has been taking up much of my free time lately (pics will be posted when I them). I really missed the lathe. Glad to be back!
This event is also being held in conjunction with the Adirondack Woodturners Association's "Totally Turning" symposium, which is a more specialized and much more expensive venue with exhibitors and in structures from around the world.
Cheers....
