Number Six Hundred

This is my 600th pen. Well, not really. It's pen number 600 since I started numbering them. Many times I'll make 2-10 of the same pens and give them all the same pen number. Anyway, minutiae aside, after completing some pens this one had the round number of 600 and I liked the pen, so I thought I'd share it. The blank was not made by me. It's been in a drawer for a couple of years, and finally let it fulfill it's destiny. The set is a diamond knurl from Exotic Blanks. Ed ran a sale on convertible pens recently and included the fountain pen nib and rollerball section for the same price as the rollerball. The finish is a new one for me, Black Chrome. It's darker and has more of a satin sheen than the gunmetal finish I've used before. It looks sharp with the resin in this hybrid. Thanks for looking.

That's beautiful! The "ink spill" look of the black in the blank really does tie it right into the black chrome finish. I've mad a few in the black chrome. They work great with the right blank.
