I've been noodling details for a while and finally got a prototype cobbled together. I've received so much inspiration from this group, I hope that I have not copied anyone's ideas. If I have, it is purely by accident.
The parts came from a Vertex Supreme fountain kit. (Magnet from the cap, nib/feed/housing/section and one body coupler)
2 Lava Lamp Moon Mist blanks.
Appreciate any suggestions for improvement. I don't have taps/dies but wanted to venture out into the 'not quite kitless' arena.
I found that a step by step list of the size & depth to drill AND exactly when to drill it is paramount. I didn't get the first cap drill deep enough and it was a bugger to come back after final assembly and make it a bit deeper with the magnet in place.
