Sat---14 hour day----$0.00 in sales
Sun---5:00 Am driving back to the show.
had a blow out on the front.
Jacked the mini van up and installed the spare tire.
let the jack down
Spare was flat also
Jacked the van back up.
Hitched a ride to town to air up the spare.
Got a ride back to the van
Installed the spare.
Spent 12 hours at the show.
two hours loading everything up.
Drove back home
Total sales ----one person bought a nice big Walnut bowl.
Covered the cost of the show.
Now I get to go to town and buy a set of tires for the van.

Sorry to hear of your not-so-good travels. Hope it was not raining when you had to fix the van ... flat tires are bad news all around, but in the rain YUCK!

Glad to hear you got home safe and sound!

Gary I feel your pain, after the wind helped me unload a few items on Fri, Sat only 2 pens sold. Thankfully the sandstone coasters did good. We broke even for the weekend.

You guys are scarin' the crap outta me! We don't start out here until May, and have a big expensive one in the Mountains. We always have done well at our Guild shows, but this year is a real wild card. Hard to predict.

It won't always be like that, Gary.

This is just one of the many joys of doing this for a living.
You just keep moving and hope you make enough to stay alive.
We still have several years before SS kicks in---so there is no monthly check for awhile.
There are no jobs in this part of the country.

Gary, the important part is you're still here to do the next show!!
