A good friend of mine has transferred from Peoria, IL Caterpillar plant to the UK Caterpillar plant. His name is Greg Ferkel and he is on the cruise. He as been a little upset about the price increases being levied, but he is still excited. I didn't get to see him when he came back to IL, but he did pick up some of my Masur Maple at a mutual friends shop. Tell him I said hi.
 
I looked at this last year and it looks like it would be a blast. Couldn't talk my wife into it though. Also a little on the expensive side for me. Have a great time and let us know how it goes.

NORWEGIAN CRUISE

Hi Folks
Just to say the cruise is over and was a great success!. I met with Oisten in Bergen and exchanged Pens, Wood & Whiskey!! It was a very pleasant meeting. I also met up with Greg Ferkel and Susan his good lady who low_48 past on their details. We had some pleasant days getting to know one another. I am hoping he will be able to give a Demonstration at our Club next year. The weather and scenery were good to us and there was plenty of food!!
The beer ashore was £13.00 a pint!! (23$) so not too much drunk!! The Professionals onboard were generous with their time and expertise! Next cruise is earmarked for 2011.
Worth the trip.
