Were it me, I'd take 20 to 234 (thru Rochelle to Micanopy), then South on US 441 into McIntosh. Turn right (West) onto CR 320 (aka Ave. G) and go 1.4 miles.
Turn right (North) thru the gate and go approx. 950' to the end of the driveway. ;)
It's heavily wooded on the north side of the road prior to my driveway and as soon as the woods stop, our large front pasture begins with the driveway immediately adjacent to the woods.
Here's a link to the location using Google maps:

Ain't no IF about it! Folks from all over is invited -- I don't care where you live, if you're in the neighborhood, passing by, or plan to go thru the area near this time, please come. ;)
Heck, Bernie's drivin' up from Myakka City and I'm hopin' some will come down from near Hot 'lanta or farther up toward the Mason-Dixon line.

Shameless bump and reminder and recall of the INVITE for our new members.

Bernie is bringing his Green Egg and cooking ribs.
There'll be woodworkers who don't necessarily turn and while
this ain't a commercial event there's likely to be some trading,
swapin' and prolly some giveaways.

This promises to be a fun time and is definitely family oriented.

Cheers,

Al,
You betcha!!! It's a family affair, so bring the LOYL too. ;)
Please do come down. With any luck, we'll have weather like it is this weekend.
Wouldn't that be something.

Bob,

If you come up I-75, exit at Irvine/Orange Lake, Exit #368. Turn right (East) onto CR318, continue to traffic light at US 441. Turn left (North) onto US 441 and go approximately 3 miles. Or, come straight up US 441 North toward Gainesville.

When you get into McIntosh, there's only one light -- a blinking light at the intersection of US 441 and CR 320 (AKA Ave. G). Turn left (West) on CR 320, go 1.4 miles, turn right into the drive.
The driveway is blacktop at the apron and turns to recycled concrete and limerock as you come through the gate.

Our pasture along the road has brand new fencing, if it's sunny you'll know that's it.
It'll be hard to miss.

Just immediately beyond my driveway is a post w/ two highway signs on it: Winding road and 35 MPH Speed Limit.
If you pass that, you just missed the driveway.
Follow the driveway roughly 950' to the end.

Lookin' forward to seein' ya.

Cheers,
Gary

For those planning to attend:
The sawdust sessions will start about 9:00 AM.
I'll have a pot of coffee brewed and folks will arrive as they will.
The first wave of BBQ will likely be ready around 12:30 or so.
This being the closest weekend to the full moon, we'll have guests with us
all day late into the evening and a couple indicated they'll be camping overnight
on the grounds.
Please bring a chair; wives and LOYL are welcome as are children, and if you wish to
share a dish, feel free to bring something but it's not required.
If you come, make sure you have some room to take some wood back with you.
Not only will there be free stuff to take, but Bones, a WoodNet friend, will have
lumber for sale. You can see his offerings in this link:

:D
This promises to be another fun time. Looking forward to seeing y'all here. [8D]

Gary, I was hoping to make it but it looks like I'll have to pass. Have a great time and I'll try and stop and say hello again my next trip through there.

We're on rain or shine -- and it promises to be a little damp during parts of the day but a lot of fun. Folks from IAP, WN, LJ, my local club, and others will be attending.
Probably be somewhat cloudy but the sun just started to break thru as I'm typing.
That could be a good omen. :D [8D]

Gary,
Thanks, but can't make it. The city inspector is due here today(he has stood us up his last 2 times), and after trying to bust out last minute stuff for the inspection I suspect I will be too worn out for traveling.

Hope everyone has a grand time.

Bill,
That's can work but there's a shorter way.
Coming down 301, you'll go thru Starke.
Then at Waldo, 301 and Waldo Rd. split. Bear right and take the
Waldo bypass toward Gainesville. Stay on Waldo Rd. past University, wherein
it'll become 331 or Williston Rd. and it'll cross 441. At the light where
it intersects US 441, turn left (south) and go across Payne's Prairie.
US 441 will go thru Micanopy and McIntosh. At the blinking light in the middle
of McIntosh, turn right and go 1.4 miles. Then you'll smell sawdust and BBQ :D [8D]
And, I'll PM my cell # in case you need it.

Gary, as much as I wanted to come up, I am sorry I seem to have the flu or some bug. I figured I should keep it to myself. Maybe one day when I am on the road I can stop by and meet you.
Thanks again
Dave Spring Hill

Gary, I too wanted to come down... and did... with strep throat. Wish I could shake it but it won't happen overnight. Hope the weather holds up for you all and I'll get to a Bubbasville maybe next time around.. Have fun !!!
