Hello all.
I am from the western part of North Carolina.
This October we are having a Pig Pickin for woodworkers.
If you are interested, and October 11th is open, consider coming to the Asheville, NC area and meeting fellow wood workers, eating, and sharing in fellowship with us.
Let me know if you might be interested and I'll fill you in with details.

Man, we have a baby due only a few weeks from that day. I'd love to give you the thumbs-up, but my luck our boy will show up early and I'll be in the doghouse for a reaaaallllly long time[B)]

The Blue Ridge Mountains in the Fall? And it looks like we'll have a good color year with the rain we're getting. Keep me updated.

For those that have never seen the Blue Ridge Mountains in full Autumn colors, try to make the trip at least once in your life. You WON'T regret it. http://www.romanticasheville.com/blue_ridge_parkway_fall2007.htm

And if you have time, go visit The Biltmore Estate. It's the largest private home (more a museum now)in the country built by the Vanderbilts.

I agree Mike! I'm only a few miles from the Blue Ridge Parkway and right in the middle of it every year. I NEVER get tired of all the spectacular colors.:D
