Hi all,
So I went to a wood workers expo in March to see a guitar building workshop. In walking around the expo to see all there was to offer I noticed that there were several pen and other small project turning booths.

I ended up turning my first pen at one of the booths and was hooked. I bought a small lathe a few weeks later and have been trying to make pens ever since. I guess I have made about 12 now.

I have been lurking around for a little while and thought it was time to introduce myself.

I will use my 800th post to welcome you to IAP. I am relatively new and have found everyone here to be very supportive and helpful. Look forward to seeing your pens. Post pics as you go. NO PICS...IT DIDN'T HAPPEN.

I'm new to this also... Live down the street from you in Stafford, work on the west side of 95 on MCB Quantico.
