Noiseless Routing

JTclockman I was thinking of doing some fluting of my pens but since we are living in an apartment the noise of a router is an issue. Do you think this would work?

I would say that would fit your needs perfectly. Seems like all these wood tool guys go through some fancy mock ups for this day or that is some photo shop work. Takes 2 people to use it.:biggrin:

Actually, You could get a water cooled router. They hardly make any noise at all. The vacuum cleaner would make more noise cleaning up the dust.
