I have broken a total of 13 bones, 8 of them at one time. After about a week you should be able to get into some light work like drilling and glueing up blanks. So use that time to makle up sets of kits and blanks to go together. That way when you can handle your skew again you can dive right in. I spoend one night a week putting together sets, drilling and glueing them, and the rest of my spare time I am turning. That way I don't have to sit for 10 minutes between pens trying to decide what to put together. I also drill all my 7mm holes, then move on to the 10mm, then to the odd stuff. Its production line at my shop. When I feel like turning, that's all I have to do. Set it on the mandrel and go. I already know what blank, kit, and style I am doing. Do the light stuff while that's all you can do and then dive in to the heavy when you are able. Just don't dive in too fast. The pens will wait till the arm is ready.
