What an awesome trade. I haven't had an opportunity like that but I have a standing invitation at work to any hunters to trade a pen for antler.

On your next trip from Houston to Dallas, or from Dallas to Houston,
off the I45, take the highway 79 exit at Buffalo and go west about 7 miles.. to Jewett
and stop in at the Trade Mart(on your left as you enter town) to see Terry Jones....
he runs a small game farm and has quite a collection of various antlers in a back room of his antique/junk store... he's my source of antler... not sure when I'll get back down that way again,
we don't travel to Texas much any more and since the SIL has moved to Dallas and my son is in Austin area, doubt I'll get down I45 again....
