It was the choice of the members here who asked to put the IAP wood chart on a separate forum of it's own, but the traffic to that forum have stopped and I was if the interest was fizzled out?

Sorry Philly, I just realized where it got moved to. I'm not used to looking under penturning for a subcategory. I enjoy seeing what turners have to say about specific wood species and alternative materials.

Phil I was hoping that would not happen. I added a link in my signature hopefully pointing people to the right forum so that they can contribute to the project.

Think it's more of a matter of 'where did it go' then a lack of interest. When people find it, it'll take off again!

I think you all are right somehow it got burried and it won't pop up as a new post ion new post area. I would appreciate it if you all can send a PM to Jeff and express your concern that this has gotten confusing as where it is for you alll see the latest added posts or new thread.

That is really not necessary. Jeff reads these posts. One PM will get the message to him. I am willing to bet that he does not need multiple PMs that say the same thing.

The wood chart forum was set so that it DOES NOT pop up in the new posts. There was just WAY TOO MANY posts on this endeavor and at times, it would complete clog up the new post so once it was move to the new forum, the new forum was set to be excluded. Rather than bug Jeff about it, I would suggest being thankful that it was even allowed a new forum. I know that he would have really preferred that the wiki be used since that is its purpose.

Curtis, Thank you!

Don't worry Phillip , once things settle down a bit there will be allot more activity . It will just take a little time untill people understand the new structure here .

If we had as many people contributing as complaining, Phil would be done by now. It takes less time to help with the project then it does to complain about it. Why is it when something new comes along people are so resistant to change? Every one of my contributions took less then a min apiece to do.
