Ever glue random scraps up into a blank with the intent of turning them into something, without having the foggiest idea what you're gonna then them into? Cool, me neither.
I had these cutoffs from making cutting boards almost a year ago. Today I planted them flat, cut them down a little, and glued up this triangular blank. It's kind of a hot mess of arbitrarily arranged squares and strips of walnut, maple, cherry, and purpleheart. I'm thinking it will probably become some sort of small chaos patterned bowl. It could be really cool or it could Tuen into an absolute hot mess. I guess we will find out when the glue dries and it's not too hot to be stuck in my shop for a couple hours.
