Friend from work said, "I cut down this tree last weekend and it had one of those "burls" on it. Do you want it?" I asked him what it was and he said he wasn't sure, so I came home today and it was sitting on my front steps.

And yes I know I need to mow my yard.

You need to mow your lawn. You don't have time to fuss with that ugly little burl.

Send it to me. I will dispose of it for you.

I will make the sacrifice for you. After all, what are friends for.

That is going to need cut, DRIED, cut, turned ... a lot of work for someone who admits he needs to mow his lawn. Priorities ... Get to work and buy a goat!!!!

I would vote for Cherry.

As for the yard ... don't you have kids and a lawnmower. Also, some heavy duty Roundup will eliminate the 'things' that are growing out of place in the flower bed. DON'T BUY THE READY TO USE STUFF' and nothing less than 41% concentrate ever proved beneficial for me.

your Guess is as good as mine. Once you get chance to mowe your yard you can come down and do mine too.:biggrin: hey youguys don't get that much up there in MN ,because is too cold most of the time ,huh?

yep its cherry......too bad the "smello vision" is turned off or you guys could smell it thru your screens.

Bought a new mower today too.....pretty much looked like a big idiot though, riding it home !!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was gonna rent a trailer, then thought, Naaah I can make it. Got some funny looks but made it home. About 2 miles...........

Mower is 2 yrs old, 17.5 hp yardman, for $350. Looks like its barely used...
