I agree, very nice Bobby. Did you use a wire to get your indentation on the wood. I've been toying with the idea of trying this process.
No, I've tried wire before myself but I haven't had any luck. I just got me a set of the easy wood micro tools. I used the micro detailer to do the lines.

Since you seem to like the thicker bodied pens, you should try the PSI Comfort pen kit, it has a larger diameter center band. Basically the same as the Slimline in construction and cost. https://www.pennstateind.com/store/comfort-pen-kits.html

Those do look nice. I didn't know you could do them without the silicone grip. I don't like that. I may do a couple of those. I just bought me some cigar kits and gonna do one of those tomorrow also. I want to see how they go together because I have a hogwild acrylic that I want to make for myself and want to do it on the cigar kit. Thanks Dogcatcher!
Btw, I do a lot of business with the woodturning store on the bay. They've never done me wrong. Picked up this set.
