I have a Powermatic Model 45, 4-speed, gap bed wood lathe for sale. It has a 12" swing over the bed, a 16" swing over the gap and it will turn 39" between centers. The lathe has been completely disassembled, cleaned and repainted. I also replaced the bearings in the headstock. This lathe is very quiet and runs very smoothly. It also is very heavy, about 350-400 pounds. It includes: a 12" tool rest, live center, 6" faceplate and the owners manual. Call Tim at 561-279-9024.

A friend of mine has one almost identical. Well made lathe but might be lacking features some people demand these days. It is a Reeves drive. That works OK but the lowest low speed is much faster than what is desirable for starting a large, out of balance/round block with. The price is probably fair though.
