All, just wanted to let everyone know that the next meeting is scheduled for 2/9 at my house in west Little Rock. Looks like everyone wants to do a PITH swap so lets plan for that too. Can't wait and will post more details as we get closer! Happy Holidays to all!

And, if they do, could they bring it?

Awesome! I don't have a bunch to do, just the few I use all the time.

I should be having a couple of new guys coming with me for this meeting. They are pretty much addicted and sucking up information as fast as I can get to it to them(and we all know, I ain't got that much info floating around in the greymatter).


Any thoughts about demo's? Anyone got anything?

We are getting close to the meeting and I wanted to reach out and see if we had any volunteers to do demos?

I will go first, and as usual, I will do something to add a bit of diversity. I am thinking about making a pepper mill or cocktail shaker or the like and was hoping I could get one of you more taleted folks to chime in with other ideas?

The meeting will be helst at my house. The address is:

Don't look like I will be able to make it this time. Work always gets in the way. Would like to meet all the new guys and visit with the old guys. Have fun, Ted:)

We. normally start around 10, but it's fine to arrive later. I don't think we have an official end time. We normally shoot for 2, but they have been going longer. We're very informal as far as schedule, so if you need to leave early, no problem.
 
i be in texarkana the 9th( wife's birthday).and in florida may 11..
hope to make one, one of these days

I'm out, I'm in south TX enjoying this warm weather, I was home last week, I had to come back to work to relax, put about 500 sq ft of hardwood flooring in and did about 17 things on a honey do list. Maybe next time!

I have good news, and bad news. Good news is I got a new job/promotion. Bad news is it knocks me out of being able to make this meeting. I was looking forward to meeting all of you too. I will be in touch though. You guys have fun and someone take some pics.

Who ended up with the scallop blanks? I think they should have to show the finished pen.

And BTW Scott. Don't you have to make some sort of announcement about the next meeting?:wink: (Hey, what are friends for?:tongue:)
