Hi, I just got into turning recently and have only made 42 pens so far, mostly slimline. Looking around on the web for more interesting designs I found this place Here are my first attempts at segmenting, I know I have a long way to go.
This one is Purple Heart, bloodwood, yellowheart, & maple.

Nice glue ups! Did you have any trouble turning them?

No problems at all so long as I didn't rush it. Once
I get the hang of sharpening my tools it should be easier. Thank you all for this forum, the wealth of knowledge is amazing. I'm learning a lot and thinking about casting already.

Thanks guys, I'm still figuring this out as I go. With the wealth of knowledge here I'm sure I'm sure ill find the answers to whatever I can't figure out on my own. Seeing what you guys(& girls) have posted gives me lots of ideas and goals for myself. Now to figure a way to afford it all.
