Ok Folks, I have not done any casting or decal work and the thought now really intrigues me. What I will more likely want to do, is create some sort of artwork or printout on a decal or something to that effect and then cast it so the artwork in encapsulated.

I have read some information about the how-to, but are there any threads or real life experiences you all are willing to share so that I am not rebuilding a wheel and have my best chance of success?

Thanks for this great forum.

If you are doing a true decal....like a waterslide decal used on models, then the best choice is to turn the pen, apply the decal and then coat with CA.

As many on here can tell you-make sure the ink is dry first. The ink has to dry then some spray it lacquar to seal it. Others can go in to more detail. The big thing is the ink must be dry...
