newbie casting question

I have been reading all the post about casting oyur own blanks, can someone tell me what is a must have to do this. and where can I purchase the material. I am probably getting way ahead of myself, but whats new. Thanks for the help.

1 gallon of silmar 41
1 hybrid resinsaver mold of your two favorite kits
Some powder paint from harbor freight for dyes
1 bottle of pearl ex

This is just my .02 but I found that I can now do almost any casting all for under$130
Seems like a big investment but it pays off quick on sales

oh also read all the casting tutorials in the library there's a ton of useful knowledge there

With these things you can cast anything from colorful swirls to snakeskin blanks.
Also a simple slab mold is useful, for cheap use Tupperware with recycle codes 1 or 5 for best results but really a silicone slab mold is another good investment

Charlie's molds are tops. I just started using one and I plan on wearing it out!
