Silmar comes in a new can.

It's white now with a plastic covered cap and on the label, it states 3 month shelf life after opening.
The shipping now is almost $15 too. Be less expensive to go pick it up.:frown:

i have checked with local suppliers and they have all told me that they get the same price as we do. not sure they could justify that.

I don't expect wholesale price when buying locally. I would be quite pleased if I could just save on shipping and lead time.
 
no not wholesale price. the dealers have to pay the same price as us. our price would be higher. you would not save anything.

How would I know that unless I actually had such a local vendor?

Why I agree with you that hypothetically there may be no cost savings, that is not known until such a vendor is identified.
 
I've checked with EVERY distributor within a 30 mile radius and none of them carry any type of casting resins. They can get them, but the cost was unreasonable.
