Nice one. Nothing beats a new laser. Gotta love high tech toys. I'm entertaining the idea of buying a ruby laser crystal from a guy in another forum and making my own welding laser. The electronics of it scare me a bit though.

It has a 12" x 24" bed and a 35 watt laser. With accessories, delivery, etc., it cost only my left arm. But I didn't use it very much anyway [)]. Actually, everything came to $16k.

Congrats Stan,
Boy, You will really have lots of new friends now!!!!!! I've had my 25 watt machine for several years now, but still love to watch it work. I fell in love with this technology when I saw a friends gift of a wood cased tape measure. It had several tool profiles burnt in it, including a bubble in the level, and marks on the framer's square. Did you get the rotary attachment? I love to "burn" in the round. They really show well. Have fun[:D]

That's right Stan, my old pal, we're gonna have a lot of new friends coming to visit us at your place while I'm there helping you fine-tune your laser on some of my pens and miscellaneous other stuff! [:D] As I recall, you aren't TOO far away!

That's so cheap! Let's see, I can buy one in 13 years 4 months if I start saving $100.00 a month now! [:D]

CONGRATS!!! A definite GLOAT item [^]

<br />Very, very nice. What do you have planned for it?[8D]

I did get the rotary attachment, so this opens up a whole new line of possibilities for pen enhancements and design. My wife is planning on doing announcements with it. We have already contracted with two companies to do their awards. Both of us have quite a few other ideas bouncing around.

My primary goal is for both of us to quit our day jobs and do pens and engraving full time. We almost have everything in place for that to happen.
